Abstract: The present invention relates to an Artificial Intelligence enabled Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) and an associated method for improving vehicle safety through real-time road scene analysis. The system comprises an image acquisition module, an image pre-processing module, a traffic sign recognition module, a lane monitoring module, a speed breaker detection module, a decision engine, a context-aware voice guidance module, and an embedded processing unit. The acquired road images are processed to simultaneously identify traffic signs, lane boundaries, lane departure events, and speed breakers. The decision engine prioritizes multiple detected events and generates appropriate audible alerts through the voice guidance module to assist the driver in real time. The integrated architecture is optimized for diverse Indian road conditions and is capable of operating with low computational latency on embedded hardware platforms. The invention enhances driver awareness, reduces reaction time, improves road safety, and provides a scalable framework for intelligent driver assistance systems.
