Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a fully automated embedded temperature sensing and fan actuation system for energy-efficient cooling using an Espressif Systems ESP32 microcontroller. The system comprises a digital temperature sensor for continuously monitoring ambient temperature, a relay module for controlling power supply to a DC fan, and a 16×2 LCD display for real-time indication of temperature and fan status. The ESP32 compares the sensed temperature with a predefined threshold value and automatically switches the fan ON when the temperature exceeds the set limit and switches it OFF when the temperature falls below the threshold. This eliminates manual operation, reduces unnecessary energy consumption, and improves cooling efficiency. The system is compact, low-cost, reliable, and suitable for smart homes, server rooms, industrial cooling, and protection of temperature-sensitive electronic equipment, with future scope for IoT-based remote monitoring and control.
