MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611071503 A) filed by Desh Bhagat University on June 09, 2026, for An Automated Glove-Based Tremor Detection And Suppression System And Method Thereof.
Inventors include Dr. Zora Singh; Mr. Abhishek Mehta; Dr. Khushboo Bansal; and Dr. Sandeep Singh.
The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an automated glove-based tremor detection and suppression system (100) comprising a wearable glove (102) configured to be worn on a hand of a user and to support integration of tremor detection and suppression components. A plurality of sensors (104) is disposed within the wearable glove (102) and configured to collect motion data associated with hand movement of the user. A plurality of vibration motors (106) is configured to generate controlled vibrations for suppressing detected tremors. A rechargeable battery (108) supplies electrical power to components of the system (100), and a communication network (110) establishes a communication link for data transmission. A processing unit (112) processes the motion data for tremor detection and suppression through a data acquisition module (114), a signal processing module (116), a tremor analysis module (118), a motor actuation module (120), an adaptive suppression module (122), and an output module (124).
