Abstract: The present invention relates to an automated hydroponic cultivation system. This is Internet of Things (IoT) based fully automated hydroponic system for soil-less cultivation of plants under controlled environmental conditions. The system comprises a hydroponic growing unit, a water storage tank, nutrient solution tanks, and pH adjustment tanks fluidly connected through controlled pumping units. A plurality of sensors, including pH, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), water level, temperature, humidity, and light sensors, continuously monitor nutrient quality and environmental parameters. An embedded microcontroller processes the sensor data and automatically actuates pumps, lighting units, humidifiers, and ventilation devices through relay modules to maintain optimal plant growth conditions. The system further includes a wireless communication module for remote monitoring, data transmission, and user alerts. The closed-loop automated operation reduces manual intervention, minimizes water and nutrient wastage, and improves crop yield. The invention is suitable for use in greenhouses, urban farming, agricultural research facilities, and remote locations, promoting sustainable and efficient agricultural practices.
