Abstract: The present invention relates to a speed limiting system for vehicles comprising a lithium-ion battery (100) connected through a power switch (103) to supply power to an Arduino Nano microcontroller (104), an IR obstacle sensor (102), and a motor driver module (105). A potentiometer (101) provides throttle input to the Arduino Nano microcontroller (104), which converts the input into a PWM signal for the motor driver module (105). The IR obstacle sensor (102) continuously scans for obstacles and transmits a signal to the Arduino Nano microcontroller (104) upon detection. The Arduino Nano microcontroller (104) overrides the potentiometer (101) input and reduces the PWM duty cycle to a predefined safe level. The motor driver module (105) receives the PWM signal and controls a first BO motor (106) and a second BO motor (107). All components are mounted on a PCB to provide a compact, stable, and portable structure. The system enables manual speed control through the potentiometer (101) and automatic speed reduction through the IR obstacle sensor (102).
