Abstract: Real-time analysis of ambient environment metrics is crucial in industrial areas, semi enclosed areas, underground parking and chemistry laboratories where the multiple harmful gas quality along with temperature and humidity variations impacts directly on human safety and regulatory compliances. However, majority of the existing devices or systems is located in a certain space, thus failing to capture spatial variations in gas parameters. There is also lack of overall coverage of space, particularly in tiny space. This project uses a mini robot that has been equipped with ESP-32 microcontroller, a gas sensor, a temperature-humidity sensor, and a green color LED. This robot moves randomly through a particular space by detecting gases including carbon dioxide (CO2), ammonia (NH3), carbon monoxide (CO), benzene, ethene (C2H4), temperatures, and humidity. The data sensed by the sensors are directly sent to Blynk IOT Platform for immediate visualization. LED blinking is assurance of successful transmission of data. This project shows how harmful gases' surveillance would be feasible, efficient, without the intervention of a human. It provides a remote monitoring capability of the atmospheric parameters monitoring, saving workers' time with fees.
