Abstract: The present invention discloses the development of a decision support system (DSS) based on the Ayurvedic approach for the purpose of detecting diseases among pediatrics. To meet the need for a non-invasive diagnostic technique that could be used for preventing disease among children, this particular model combines the traditional Ayurvedic methods of Nadi Pariksha (pulse diagnosis) and Jihva Pariksha (tongue diagnosis) along with the application of machine learning algorithms. Through quantifying symptoms and identifying problems in terms of dosha imbalance (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha), the DSS helps to diagnose various pediatric diseases, from respiratory infections to gastrointestinal disorders. The model has been proven to provide high levels of diagnostic accuracy and reliability, serving as an efficient, affordable supplementary tool for practitioners. FIG.1
