Abstract: The present invention relates to an Electric Paddy Transplanter (100) to automatically transplant seedlings into the field without manual intervention. It comprises of a main frame (1), a seedling tray carrier (3) affixed with a seedling tray (2), a seedling stopper tensioner (8) mechanically attached to the main frame (1), a planting arm (20) fastened to the main frame (1) through a metal linkage (21), a gearbox (28) functionally hitched to the main frame (1) by a sprocket (29) an adjustable handle (4) housed within a handle socket (7), a battery encased inside a battery cover (5) mounted on a battery stand (6), a plurality of switches internally wired with the battery to establish a connection. It functions by preparing the field with optimal requirements and taking a batch of seedlings to be loaded horizontally on the seedling tray (2). The catcher spring (17) collects the seedlings from the seedling tray (2) at specified time intervals and transplants them into the field ensuring a uniform depth of planting and precise row-to-row distance without any manual intervention.
