Abstract: The present invention provides an electrolytic capacitor-less isolated ultra-high-gain DC-DC power converter (100) comprises an electrolytic capacitor-less coupled- inductor current-fed input stage, a high-frequency transformer (110), a voltage-doubler rectifier, and a resonant network. The high-frequency transformer (110) includes primary and secondary windings, with the secondary winding coupled to the voltage-doubler rectifier incorporating output diodes D1 (111) and D2 (112), and film capacitors C1 (113) and C2 (114). The input stage, transformer (110), and voltage-doubler rectifier operate in an integrated manner to provide ultra-high voltage gain while maintaining galvanic isolation. The resonant network utilizes the leakage inductance of the high-frequency transformer (110) together with capacitive elements to achieve zero-voltage switching during turn-on, partial zero-current switching during turn-off of active switches (104, 106), and substantially zero-current commutation of output diodes (111, 112). The coupled-inductor windings L1 (102) and L2 (103) provide continuous low-ripple input current with minimal switching components.
