Abstract: The presient invention discloses an embedded Battery Management System (BMS) architecture integrating register-level firmware control, predictive fault detection, adaptive hybrid cell balancing and distributed safety actuation for rechargeable battery packs deployed across electric vehicles, stationary grid storage, telecommunications backup, aerospace, marine and industrial energy systems. A master microcontroller executing interrupt-driven firmware, DMA-configured sampling and watchdog-protected real-time control loops communicates with distributed slave monitoring controllers that continuously acquire multi-dimensidnal cell parameters including voltage, temperature, impedance, pressure, gas emission, and humidity that are stored in memorymapped registers for deterministic retrieval. A predictive analytics engine, operable at edge and cloud levels, forecasts thermal escalation, lithium plating, connector arcing and runaway propagation before critical thresholds are breached. A hybrid balancing network combining passive pesistor. switched-capacitor, transformer-coupled and bidirectional DC-DC topologies is governed by an arbitration engine that dynamically selects the optimal balancing modb based on themqai maps, State-of-Health divergence and predicted load demand. Upon fault detection, selective module isolation preserves healthy module operation. The architecture further I incorporates hardware root- of-trust security, tamper logging, blockchain-backed battery history records, hot-swappable module docking interfaces, charger handshake authentication, GPSlinked flpet telemetry gateways and digital twin simulation engines, collectively delivering reduced i response latency, thermal runaway containment, extended battery lifespan and scalable fleet-level predictive maintenance.
