Abstract: An energy-harvesting communication module for remote sensors is disclosed. The module includes an ambient energy transducer, power conditioning circuit, energy storage unit, controller, sensor interface, energy monitor, adaptive scheduler, wireless transceiver, antenna, and data buffer. Harvested energy is conditioned and stored, while the controller acquires sensor data only when sufficient reserve is available. The adaptive scheduler coordinates sensing, buffering, and transmission according to energy state and link quality, thereby supporting autonomous wireless reporting from remote installations with reduced battery maintenance.
