Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an engine for a vehicle. The engine may include a crankshaft (100), a balancer shaft (102) and a drive unit (104). The crankshaft (100) may include a proximal end (100-1) and a distal end (100-2) opposite to the proximal end (100-1). Further, the balancer shaft (102) may be positioned parallel to the crankshaft (100) and has a driven gear (103). The drive unit (104) may be mounted on the proximal end (100-1) of the crankshaft (100) and may be adapted to rotate along with a rotation of the crankshaft to drive the balancer shaft (102), a camshaft sprocket, an oil pump rotor (117). The drive unit (104) may include a rotor (106), a timing sprocket (108), and a driving gear (110). Herein, the rotor (106), the timing sprocket (108), and the driving gear (110) may be formed as an integral structure.
