Abstract: ABSTRACT Disclosed herein is an enhanced IoT-based smart biogas monitoring & automation system (100), the system (100) comprises a sensing module (102) comprising a plurality of sensors configured to measure operational parameters of the biogas digester. The system also includes a processing and communication unit (104) configured to periodically acquire, pre-process, and packetize sensor data. The system also includes a control and actuation module (106) configured to selectively control operation of actuators. The system also includes a user interface and visualization module (108) comprising a remote dashboard platform configured to receive transmitted data, store and display real-time and historical operational parameters of the biogas digester, generate alerts and notifications corresponding to abnormal conditions. The system also includes a power management module (110) configured to provide regulated power supply to the sensing module (102), processing and communication unit (104), and control and actuation module (106).
