Abstract: The present invention discloses an illuminated console (100) specifically designed for the handlebar of a vehiclefeaturing a casing (102) with a symbol insert (104) displaying at least one symbol (106). Positioned behind the symbol insert, an illumination sub-assembly (112) provides light via a light-dispersing housing (114). The sub-assembly includes a printed circuit board (122) with at least one light source (128) directed toward the front wall (116) to emit light through the symbol insert. The casing includes a side wall (118) with an aperture (120) for a protruding portion of the printed circuit board, which has a mounting provision (130). The sub-assembly is securely attached to the casing through an attachment member (132), with alignment ensured by the attachment provision (108) on the casing and the mounting provision (130) on the circuit board.
