MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611059963 A) filed by Noida Institute Of Engineering And Technology Pharmacy Institute on May 12, 2026, for An Improved Drug Stabilization Process For Biologics.
Inventors include Dr. Rakhi Mishra; and Shrishti Tripathi.
The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.
Abstract: An improved drug stabilization process for biologics is disclosed. The process comprises feed preparation, staged excipient addition, controlled environmental transition, moisture regulation, analytical monitoring, and container closure conditioning. A biologic is conditioned with matrix forming, interface protecting, and degradation inhibiting components before exposure to drying, thermal, humidity, or filling stress. Residual moisture and headspace conditions are regulated to preserve potency and reduce degradation. The process is adaptable to proteins, peptides, antibodies, enzymes, vaccines, and other biologically derived therapeutic substances.
