Abstract: ABSTRACT TITLE: AN IMPROVED MULTIHOLE NOZZLE FOR INJECTING MAKE OIL IN CARCASS REACTOR TO PRODUCE SOFT BLACK GRADES WITH ENHANCED QUALITY. The present invention relates to an improved multihole nozzle for Make Oil injection in Carcass Reactor for manufacturing Soft Black grades, comprising burner block, an outer pipe for compressed air and an inner pipe for feedstock oil connected to separate hoses, a mixer and a terminating Multihole Make oil nozzle developed for injecting feedstock of finer droplet into the Carcass Reactor. Inside the nozzle, compressed air is injected through small orifices at the mixer, generating turbulence that facilitates the premixing of feedstock oil with air to form an atomized mist. The atomized feedstock is sprayed through the multihole nozzle within the Carcass Reactor for conversion to Carbon Black. The invention also includes modifications to the oil insertion port, repositioning it at selected inclination with central axis of the front plate of the Carcass Reactor. This adjustment enhances Carbon Black quality, reducing refractory damage. The nozzle operates in combination with other components of the Carcass Reactor to optimize the production of soft grade Carbon Black. (Figure 9)
