MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611060042 A) filed by Noida Institute Of Engineering And on May 12, 2026, for An Improved Pharmaceutical Granulation Process.
Inventors include Dr. Avijit Mazumder; and Ranjeet Kumar Yadav.
The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.
Abstract: An improved pharmaceutical granulation process is disclosed for producing uniform and compressible granules for solid dosage forms. A powder blend is preconditioned, contacted with controlled binder spray, agglomerated under monitored mixing energy, dried by staged moisture removal, and classified by controlled sizing. A sensor assembly supplies process data to a control unit for regulating binder flow, impeller speed, drying conditions, and discharge timing. The process improves particle size consistency, content uniformity, moisture control, and downstream tableting or filling performance.
