MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421104696 A) filed by Balkrishna Boilers Private Limited on December 30, 2024, for An Induction Steam Boiler.
Inventor includes Manish P Patel.
The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT AN INDUCTION STEAM BOILER An induction steam boiler (100) for converting electrical energy into thermal energy comprises a tank main body (101) with a water inlet, a steam discharge port (102), a safety valve (103) for automatic pressure release, and a pressure gauge for measuring internal pressure. The tank includes an upper steam-generating space (101a) and a water supply space (104) for external water input. An induction heating system features an induction heating coil (105) positioned outside the tank body (101) without direct contact, generating a magnetic field that induces eddy currents in the tank material, producing heat through electrical resistance. A heating and water flow system includes a densely wound induction heater on the tank’s outer surface for efficient heat conversion, a heat exchange space in thermal communication with the heater, perforated plates for securing the heater while enabling water flow, and an external electrical supply line in the water supply space for cooling during operation.
