Abstract: An integrated multi-functional smart kitchen appliance (100) comprises a unitary cabinet housing an upper refrigeration/freezer compartment (110), an intermediate microwave heating compartment (120), and a lower humidity-controlled crisper drawer compartment (130). An upper exhaust duct (141) vents heat from the microwave compartment independently of a lower exhaust grille (142) associated with a refrigeration compressor (150), thereby maintaining thermal isolation. A power management module (160), including a load-balancing circuit (161) and a soft-start compressor drive (162), detects concurrent microwave and compressor operation and modulates the compressor to maintain aggregate current within a predetermined domestic-circuit limit. An adaptive cooling controller (170) maintains a selected refrigeration temperature using temperature sensors (171). The compartments are independently serviceable and are supported by a diagnostic module (182) and an Internet-of-Things communication module (180) providing remote control, fault notification, energy analytics and appliance-content-based recommendations.
