Abstract: The present invention relates to an integrated ropeway-based mobility system for hill regions and a method for managing transportation thereof. The system comprises a peripheral parking subsystem for intercepting incoming vehicles, an aerial ropeway transport subsystem for primary passenger movement, an electric shuttle subsystem for last-mile connectivity, and a centralized intelligent control system for coordinated operation. The peripheral parking subsystem includes automated vehicle identification and digital mobility pass generation to regulate access. The ropeway subsystem comprises gondola cabins, the haul rope mechanism, the drive, and the safety sensors. The electric shuttle subsystem has vehicles that are powered by the battery and have regenerative braking and GPS tracking. The system also has IoT sensors that collect data in real-time, as well as AI algorithms that optimize the data, thereby decongesting the area, increasing the efficiency of the transport, and reducing the impact on the environment.
