Abstract: The present invention discloses an integrated wearable motion monitoring system (100) and a method (200) for continuous real-time monitoring of Parkinson’s disease using an internet of things (IOT) based architecture. The integrated wearable motion monitoring system (100) comprises a wearable support assembly (101), a sensor enclosure (102), a motion sensing module (103), an embedded processing unit (104), a wireless communication module (105), a cloud data repository (106), a remote monitoring platform (107), a power supply module (108), and a body area monitoring network (109). The motion sensing module (103) acquires motion-related data, and the embedded processing unit (104) performs signal processing, feature extraction, symptom assessment, tremor detection, gait assessment, fall detection, and alert generation. The wireless communication module (105) transmits processed data through internet of things (IOT) connectivity for remote monitoring and long-term clinical assessment. Fig. 1
