MUMBAI, India, Aug. 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421073063 A) filed by Endurance Technologies Limited on September 27, 2024, for An Intelligent Anti-Lock Braking System For A Vehicle.
Inventor includes Rahul Chandrashekar.
The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT Title: An Intelligent Anti-Lock Braking System for a Vehicle An intelligent anti-lock braking system (500) for a vehicle comprises a motion sensing unit (30), wheel speed sensors (7), modulation valves (9), braking unit (11), ABS logic and control unit (40), traction control unit (100), power management unit (60), ABS safety module (150), and communication module (125). The system detects differences in wheel speeds to modulate braking force and ensure stability. The ABS safety module (150) monitors sensor health and triggers fault codes upon failure, activating speed limiting via the power management unit (60). A manual ABS safety switch (25) provides an additional failsafe. The communication module (125), equipped with an eSIM-enabled connectivity module (70) and connectivity block (90), transmits distress signals containing fault codes and vehicle ID to service centers. Verified data is stored in cloud storage and supports vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication. The system ensures safe braking and continued vehicle operation in case of ABS failure.
