Abstract: An intelligent automatic power factor correction (APFC) system (100) integrated with a wireless communication module is disclosed for real-time monitoring and correction of power factor in electrical systems. The system comprises a sensing 475 unit for measuring voltage and current, a processing unit configured to determine phase difference and compute power factor, ·and a compensation unit including a capacitor bank selectively switched through a relay-based or solid-state switching mechanism. Based on continuous analysis of load conditions, the system dynamically connects or disconnects capacitive elements to maintain the power 480 factor within a predefined optimal range. A communication module, preferably GSM-based, transmits alerts and operational data to a remote user device, enabling supervision in remote or inaccessible locations. The system further includes a display unit for local monitoring. The invention enhances energy efficiency, reduces losses and penalties, and provides a reliable, cost-effective 485 solution for industrial, commercial, and rural power management applications.
