Abstract: The present invention relates to the development of a smart grid architecture that employs machine learning methods to perform prediction-based balancing of renewable energy resources and energy demands. This architecture involves the use of distributed energy resources such as solar energy, wind energy, energy storage systems, along with the use of advanced sensing, communication, and analytics capabilities to achieve effective operation of the smart grid. The real-time information gathered from smart meters, weather stations, renewable energy sources, and energy demands of consumers is analyzed through machine learning methods to predict energy production and consumption patterns. The system makes decisions about energy distribution, charging and discharging of energy storage systems, and demand response activities based on the predictions to reduce energy wastages and prevent instability in the smart grid network. Through its use of machine learning methods and predictive capabilities, the system enables energy efficiency, reduces energy costs, and promotes sustainable energy management in smart grids. FIG.1
