Abstract: ABSTRACT AN IoT-BASED MULTI-SENSOR FIRE DETECTION AND AUTOMATED SUPPRESSION TRIGGER SYSTEM FOR INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES An IoT-based multi-sensor fire detection and automated suppression trigger system for industrial facilities comprising multi-sensor nodes each incorporating a photoelectric smoke sensor, a rate-of-rise heat sensor, and an electrochemical carbon monoxide sensor. An edge gateway applies a weighted sensor fusion algorithm computing independent confidence scores to classify events as No Threat, Pre-Ignition Alert, or Confirmed Fire, reducing false positives. Confirmed Fire classification triggers zone-specific suppression actuation and simultaneous multi-channel alerts including audio alarm, push notification, SMS, and building management system integration within a predefined response time. A cloud platform maintains a tamper-evident event log employing cryptographic hashing for regulatory compliance. The system supports remote sensor health monitoring and configurable parameter adjustment. [
