Abstract: ABSTRACT AN IOT BASED REAL-TIME COMPOST MONITORING AND ALERT SYSTEM The present invention relates to an Internet of Things (IoT)-based compost monitoring and management system configured for real-time monitoring and automated environmental regulation in composting applications. More particularly, the invention discloses an integrated smart composting system comprising an ESP32 microcontroller unit, temperature and humidity sensors, pH monitoring arrangement, ultrasonic level sensing module, display unit, air circulation blower mechanism, motorized mixing arrangement, buzzer alert system, and cloud communication interface configured to monitor and regulate composting parameters including moisture, temperature, pH level, and compost level conditions. The system continuously acquires environmental data from embedded sensors and transmits the data for monitoring, alert generation, and automated control operations. The invention improves compost quality, reduces manual supervision, minimizes odour generation, enhances composting efficiency, and enables economical and sustainable household and municipal organic waste management.
