Abstract: ABSTRACT AN IOT-BASED REAL-TIME EPILEPSY SEIZURE DETECTION AND MONITORING SYSTEM The present invention relates to an IoT-based real- time epilepsy seizure detection and monitoring system configured for continuous healthcare monitoring of epilepsy patients. The system comprises an ESP32-Based Central Processing Unit (101), a Physiological Sensing Module (102), a Motion Detection Sensor Module (103), a Bluetooth Communication Interface (104), a Mobile Application and Cloud Connectivity Module (105), and an Emergency Alert and Notification Unit (106). The wearable monitoring device continuously acquires physiological and body motion data and analyzes the collected information using threshold analysis and deep neural network techniques for seizure detection. Upon identifying abnormal physiological activity and body movement patterns, the system automatically generates emergency alerts and caregiver notifications while storing patient data on a cloud platform for future medical analysis. The invention provides a portable, intelligent, cost-effective, and scalable healthcare monitoring solution capable of improving seizure response time and patient safety.
