Abstract: The present invention discloses an IoT-Integrated Intelligent Decision Support System using Regularized Linear Regression for real-time forecasting and resource optimization. The system acquires real-time data from distributed IoT sensors, preprocesses the collected information, and applies Regularized Linear Regression to generate accurate predictive insights while minimizing overfitting. Based on the forecasting results, an intelligent decision support module dynamically optimizes resource allocation and operational processes. The invention supports adaptive model updating, cloud or edge deployment, and scalable implementation across smart agriculture, healthcare, manufacturing, transportation, energy management, and smart city applications, improving efficiency, accuracy, and sustainability.
