Abstract: The present invention relates to an Offline Universal Learning Remote Control System capable of learning, storing, decoding, and retransmitting both Infrared (IR) and Radio Frequency (RF) wireless control signals for operating multiple electronic appliances through a single integrated remote platform. The system comprises a microcontroller-based processing unit, an IR communication module, an RF communication module, an EEPROM-based non-volatile memory unit, a user interface module, and a power supply unit. The microcontroller is configured to receive and analyze IR and RF command signals transmitted from existing remote controllers, decode protocol and timing information, and store the learned command data in non-volatile memory. The stored commands can subsequently be retrieved, reconstructed, and retransmitted through the corresponding IR or RF transmitter to control target appliances. The EEPROM memory architecture enables permanent retention of learned command sequences, protocol parameters, and user-defined button mappings even during power interruptions or system restarts. The system supports dual-mode operation for both line-of-sight and non-line-of-sight communication, thereby enhancing compatibility with a wide range of consumer, commercial, and industrial electronic devices. The invention eliminates the need for multiple dedicated remote controllers and operates entirely without internet connectivity, cloud services, smartphone applications, or external network infrastructure. The disclosed system provides a compact, cost-effective, reliable, and user-friendly solution for centralized wireless appliance control and management.
