The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT AN OIL SEPARATOR ASSEMBLY AND A METHOD THEREOF The present disclosure relates to an oil separator assembly (100). The assembly for separating oil from a refrigerant vapour-oil mixture is disclosed. The assembly comprises a shell (105) with dome-shaped closures, enclosing an enclosure (120) extending longitudinally within the shell. The enclosure features a top plate (140), a bottom plate (142), and perforated partition grid walls (144) that divide the enclosure into chambers. The assembly receives the mixture through inlets (110A, 110B), guiding it to strike the top plate for partial oil separation. Demisters (150) in the first and second chambers further coalesce fine oil droplets, allowing purified refrigerant vapour to pass through to an intermediate chamber (126). A first sump (130) collects the purified vapour, which exits through first outlets (112A, 112B). Separated oil collects at the bottom of the shell and exits through second outlets (113A, 113B).
