Abstract: The present invention relates to an oil skimmer device (AQUATEX) comprising of GI sheet base (100), aluminum frame (101), PU (polyurethane) oleophilic belt (102), scraper (103), PP pulleys (104), turbine or paddle wheel (105), oil collection tray (106), Arduino UNO microcontroller (107), IR sensor (108), capacitive moisture sensor (109), Bluetooth module (HC-05) (110), ultrasonic sensor (111), configured for efficient oil-water separation from contaminated water surfaces. The PU belt (102) selectively adsorbs oil while repelling water and is rotated through PP pulleys (104). The scraper (103) removes oil from belt (102) and transfers it into oil collection tray (106). The turbine (105) provides propulsion for movement. The Arduino UNO (107) processes inputs from IR sensor (108), capacitive moisture sensor (109), and ultrasonic sensor (111) for obstacle detection, oil presence detection, and water level measurement, and controls belt (102), scraper (103), and turbine (105). The Bluetooth module (110) enables wireless transmission of data for monitoring and control.
