Abstract: TITLE: “AN OVERHEAD CONSOLE OF A VEHICLE” ABSTRACT An overhead console (100) of a vehicle is disclosed. The overhead console includes a housing (110), and a button module (200). The housing is connected to a portion of a headliner of the vehicle and is defined with a first end (110a) and a second end (110b). The first end is located proximal to a windshield (W) of the vehicle. The button module (200) is mounted on the housing and located proximal to the first end of the housing. The button module consists of a button-bar that includes a plurality of buttons separated from each other via a separator (224) formed on the button-bar. A plurality of second light sources (214) are embedded on a circuit board (210) to illuminate each of the separators. The console creates an appearance of distinct buttons (222) and separators (224), with illumination that aids in the rapid visual location and identification of each button.
