Abstract: ABSTRACT TITLE: AN UNMANNED AERIAL-AQUATIC VEHICLE(UAAV) EQUIPPED WITH RETRACTABLE WING CONFIGURATION AND DUAL PROPULSION SYSTEM. The present invention relates to an Unmanned Aerial-Aquatic Vehicle (UAAV) configured for efficient operation in both air and water, with a retractable wing configuration and a dual propulsion system, comprising: (i) a retractable wing(1.1) mechanism actuated by a servo, allowing for reduced drag and increased efficiency during aquatic operation; (ii) a dual propulsion system, including a larger propeller(1.4) for air operation and a smaller propeller(1.5) for water operation, on surface as well as underwater; (iii) a folding wing design, utilizing a cambered plate or an airfoil with zero thickness, and incorporating thin airfoil theory for predicting 2D airfoil properties, and (iii) a V-tail assembly (1.3) with said foldable V-configuration hinged at the bottom of the fuselage (1.2) allow surfaces to lay flat against the body during transport or aquatic maneuvers to provide both pitch and yaw control while remaining foldable for storage. The UAAV proposed herein is a revolutionary, amphibious unmanned vehicle designed for seamless transition between aerial and aquatic environments, makes it a versatile option for application in various industries, such as environmental monitoring, marine inspection, and to conduct search and rescue.
