The application for the patent was published on October 09, 2026, under issue no. 41/2026.
Abstract: An antenna array (100) includes a dielectric substrate (102) having a first surface (103) and a second surface (105), a ground plane (104) on the second surface (105), a rectangular microstrip patch (106) as a first radiating element on the first surface (103), a circular microstrip patch (108) as a second radiating element on the first surface (103) and spaced apart from the first radiating element, a first microstrip feed line (110) coupled to the first radiating element, and a second microstrip feed line (112) coupled to the second radiating element. The first and second radiating elements have dissimilar geometries such that they exhibit mutually offset resonant frequencies within a common operating frequency band. The first and second microstrip feed lines (110, 112) are independently excitable to permit dual-port operation, with the dissimilar geometries providing combined impedance bandwidth and reduced mutual coupling relative to an array of geometrically identical elements. An IoT communication device, system, and method of manufacturing the array are also provided. Reference Fig. 1
