MUMBAI, India, Aug. 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511001964 A) filed by Icar Directorate Of Coldwater Fisheries Research on January 09, 2025, for Antifungal Nanoemulsion For Treatment Of Saprolegniasis.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates an antifungal nanoemulsion for the treatment of saprolegniasis. The nanoemulsion comprising:essential oils comprising a thyme oil, a carvacrol, and a peppermint oil in ratio of range 1.5:1:1.5 to 2:1:2; a ripening inhibitor ; a surfactant; and an aqueous phase comprising water or an aqueous buffer.The present disclosure also discloses a process for preparing the antifungal nanocomposition.
