Inventors include Dr. Sat Kumar; Dr. Yukti Gill; Ms. Purva Hattekar; Dr. S Madhura; and Dr. Smitharani Ja.
The application for the patent was published on June 19, 2026, under issue no. 25/2026.
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method (400) for recommending soil nutrient dosages includes: receiving (402), by way of a user device, farm boundary data corresponding to an agricultural land area; validating and normalizing (404), by a server, the farm boundary data and generating a geo-spatial farm identifier; retrieving (406), by the server, historical and multi-temporal satellite imagery corresponding to the geo-spatial farm identifier; pre-processing (408), by the server, the satellite imagery to remove atmospheric and radiometric distortions; identifying (410), by the server, soil-exposed or sparsely vegetated time periods based on the pre-processed satellite imagery; estimating (412), by the server, soil nutrient parameters using one or more calibrated soil nutrient prediction models; dividing (414), by the server, the agricultural land area into multiple nutrient-based management zones based on the estimated soil nutrient parameters; mapping (416), by the server, the estimated soil nutrient parameters to crop-specific nutrient requirements; and generating (418), by the server, fertilizer dosage recommendations for the agricultural land area. The present disclosure also provides a system (100) configured to perform the above method using processing circuitry communicatively coupled to the user device. Fig. 1 is the reference figure.
