Abstract: ABSTRACT An apparatus (102) for solar-powered probiotic microencapsulation comprises a solar thermal collection system (104), an insulated drying chamber (110), and a hardware processor (116). The solar thermal collection system (104) transfers solar thermal energy to inlet air via an air-to-liquid heat exchanger (106), reducing electrical energy demand on a battery bank (108) to enable grid- independent operation. The insulated drying chamber (110) maintains a spray-drying temperature in elevated ambient outdoor conditions using a ceramic fiber insulation layer (112) and a solar-reflective outer shell (114). The hardware processor (116) receives a thermal readiness signal from the solar thermal collection system (104), activates a vernacular voice interface system (118) to guide an operator through a production workflow in a selected regional language, controls atomization of a biological suspension within the insulated drying chamber (110), and collects dried probiotic microparticles having a bacterial viability exceeding a predetermined threshold of initial colony-forming units.
