The application for the patent was published on June 19, 2026, under issue no. 25/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT The present disclosure relates to adaptive route determination for last-mile delivery vehicles. The apparatus 102 includes a GPS receiver (104) that determines the geographic position of the delivery vehicle and a control circuit (106) operatively coupled to the GPS receiver (104) and an environmental sensor assembly 108. The control circuit (106) determines a current road segment from position signals and calculates segment traversal times by fusing position signals with measurements from the environmental sensor assembly (108). When a segment traversal time exceeds a stored baseline traversal time, the control circuit (106) detects a route deviation condition and recalculates the delivery sequence for remaining stops. When signal strength of a cellular transceiver (110) falls below a stored threshold, the control circuit (106) performs recalculation using historical segment traversal data, enabling continued adaptive routing without network connectivity.
