Each cartridge (104) includes a feeding container (202), a sorting structure (204) rotatably mounted to an outlet (210) of the feeding container (202), and a rotary actuator (236) coupled to the sorting structure (204). The plurality of chambers (214) automatically receives and sorts the items (208) by matching a size of the items (208) with a pitch (P) and a channel depth (D) of each of the plurality of chambers (214). Rotation of the plurality of chambers (214) dispenses sorted items (224) through a dispensing aperture (242).
