The apparatus (100) includes: a wearable frame (110), at least one imaging module (120) to capture image data, an audio output module (130) to deliver private audio output to the user, a processing unit (140) operatively coupled to the at least one imaging module (120) and the audio output module (130) to: detect, face of a person or an object in the surrounding environment; extract, feature embeddings corresponding to the detected at least one face or the at least one object; compare, the extracted feature embeddings with stored identity representations associated with the individuals or objects; determine, at least one matching feature embedding; retrieve, the contextual identity data associated with the at least one matching feature embedding; and generate and output, a contextual voice reminder associated with the at least one matching feature embedding.
