Abstract: AR BuildMaster is an augmented reality (AR) mobile application designed to bridge the gap between digital design and physical execution in the fields of home furnishing and DIY assembly. While traditional 2D paper manuals are often difficult to interpret and prone to spatial errors, this system leverages ARCore-based plane detection and computer vision to provide a real-time, interactive guidance platform. The application enables users to conduct a digital scan of their physical environment to identify horizontal and vertical surfaces. Once the environment is mapped, the system allows for the placement of 1:1 scale 3D furniture models, created in Blender, allowing users to verify spatial fit and aesthetic compatibility before purchase or assembly.
