Inventors include Dr Sanjeev Wagh; Dr Sandeep Thorat; Ms Komal Gandle; Ms Nikita Shetty; and Dr Arun Patokar.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: An artificial intelligence-enabled cardiac risk patch system (100) is disclosed for continuous, non-invasive monitoring and early detection of arrhythmia and heart disease. The system comprises a flexible biocompatible substrate (110) housing a multimodal sensor module (120) including dry electrocardiography electrodes (121), a photoplethysmography sensor (122), a skin temperature sensor (123), a tri-axial accelerometer (124), and a pulse oximetry sensor (125). Signals are conditioned by an analog front-end unit (130), processed by an embedded microcontroller (140), and classified in real time by an on-device artificial intelligence inference engine (150) that fuses multimodal features to detect arrhythmias and compute a cardiac risk score. Results are stored in a memory unit (160) and transmitted via a wireless communication module (170) to a companion mobile application (200) and a cloud platform (210) supporting analytics (220), a clinician dashboard (230), and real-time alerts (240).
