Abstract: An artificial neural network strength prediction of concrete using banana stem fiber Abstract: The present invention relates to an eco-friendly system for predicting mechanical properties of banana stem fiber reinforced concrete using an Artificial Neural Network (ANN). Banana fiber obtained from the outer sheath of banana plant stems is incorporated into concrete to improve tensile and flexural strength while reducing environmental impact. Input parameters including cement, water-cement ratio, aggregates, fiber content, and admixtures are processed by the ANN model trained using experimental data from cured specimens. The system predicts compressive, tensile, and flexural strength with high accuracy, minimizing the need for repetitive laboratory testing. This approach supports sustainable construction practices by combining natural materials with intelligent prediction techniques, enabling faster decision-making and optimized mix design.
