Abstract: With the rapid growth of online travel platforms, a massive amount of user-generated reviews is being produced daily. These reviews contain valuable insights about various aspects such as service quality, cleanliness, location, food, and overall experience. However, traditional analysis methods focus mainly on sentiment classification and fail to identify newly emerging trends or unique customer experiences. The proposed invention introduces an intelligent system for Aspect-Based Novelty Detection from Online Travel Reviews using Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning techniques. The system extracts specific aspects from textual reviews and identifies novel or previously unseen information by comparing new data with historical patterns. The system processes raw review data through preprocessing, aspect extraction, sentiment analysis, and novelty detection modules. It detects emerging trends, unusual complaints, and unique experiences shared by travelers. The system also provides structured insights and analytical outputs to assist decision-making. This invention enhances tourism analytics by enabling businesses to proactively identify changing customer preferences, improve service quality, and maintain competitiveness in the digital travel ecosystem.
