Abstract: The present invention relates to an assembly for coupling two cable channels made of a polymer material, and a coupling device (6) which is part of the assembly. An open end of the cable channels is introduced into a housing (11) on the perimeter of open ends (10) of the coupling device (6), thereby forming a continuous channel. The coupling device (6) comprises a movable pressing body (12) and an actuator (13) that can be manually operated to move the pressing body (12) into a blocking position. The pressing body (12) is a rigid plate made of a polymer material and has at its ends support surfaces in a plane. In the blocking position, the support surfaces press flatly against a side wall of the cable channels to block the movement of the open end of the cable channels in the housing (11).
