MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641086543 A) filed by Zentron Labs Pvt. Ltd on July 15, 2026, for Assistive Force Mechanism For Linear Payload Traverse.

Inventors include Krishnan Ramabadran; and Adersh Alornekar.

The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.

Abstract: The invention discloses a device 100 with an assistive force mechanism for vertical payload traverse, employing one or more eccentric pulleys 106, springs 112, pivot joint 110, and adjustment cam 204 to dynamically balance gravitational load. A carriage 108 is guided along a frame A 102, connected via a flexible link 302 to the spring 112 anchored between structural members. The eccentric pulley 106, mounted with an offset pivot, rotates partially as the carriage 108 moves, thereby varying the effective lever arm and modulating spring force. An adjustment cam 204 alters spring preload through a connecting link 202, enabling adaptation to different payloads. The pivot joint 110 ensures angular compliance of the flexible link 302, while linear guides 304 maintain carriage alignment.
