The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.
Abstract: The present invention providesasymmetric semipermeable polymer nanofilms; theircomposite membranes; and method of preparation thereof. The composite membranes are produced via interfacial polymerization of poly-substituted amine- or hydroxyl- or amine and hydroxyl- containing monomer (or polymer) with the addition of base and interface-active molecule in the aqueous phase and poly-substituted acyl halide- or poly-substituted isocyanate- or poly-substituted aldehyde- or poly-substituted chlorinated derivative of triazine-containing molecule in the organic phase. The composite membrane hasa molecular weight cut-off of 200 g mol- 1with high water permeance of up to 30.6Lm-2h-1bar-1; tunable rejection of Na2SO4(10.9 – 99.99%); MgCl2 (53.8 – 99.4%); NaCl (11.0 – 99.8%) and high ion selectivity(130 – 2764).Extremely high rejection of Na2SO4of 99.95% was retained for a hypersaline feed containing at least 150 gL-1of Na2SO4 and a for a feed with a total salt concentrationof 300 gL-1and operated at 70 bar.
