MUMBAI, India, July 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611039696 A) filed by Galgotias University on March 30, 2026, for Auriquor: Quorum Sensing-Based Lick-Safe Veterinary Wound Care Spray.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a quorum sensing inhibition-based veterinary wound care spray that prevents bacterial infections by disrupting bacterial communication pathways responsible for virulence and biofilm formation. The formulation comprises natural quorum sensing inhibitors, anti-biofilm agents, and herbal extracts in an ethanol-free, lick-safe base. The invention provides a non- toxic, non-irritating alternative to antibiotic-based wound treatments, reducing antimicrobial resistance while promoting effective healing in animals.
