Abstract: TITLE: AUTOCLAVABLE SLEEVE FOR DENTAL HANDPIECE WITH INTEGRATED HIGH-VACUUM SUCTION APPLICANT: 1. MEENAKSHI ACADEMY OF HIGHER EDUCATION AND RESEARCH 2. MEENAKSHI AMMAL DENTAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL ABSTRACT The present invention discloses a removable autoclavable sleeve for a dental implant handpiece configured to enable simultaneous irrigation and suction during dental surgical procedures, particularly during implant site preparation and osteotomy. The sleeve comprises a sleeve body adapted to be detachably mounted over a standard dental handpiece. The sleeve body incorporates an integrated suction channel connected to an external vacuum source and terminating in a micropore suction port configured to evacuate bone debris, blood, and irrigation fluid while minimizing soft tissue aspiration. An irrigation channel is also provided within the sleeve body, terminating in an irrigation port positioned adjacent to the micropore suction port for delivering cooling fluid to the operative site. The suction and irrigation channels are arranged to function concurrently, ensuring continuous fluid management. The sleeve is fabricated from biocompatible autoclavable material, enabling repeated sterilization, improved surgical visibility, enhanced efficiency, and reduced dependence on separate suction instruments.
