MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611107569 A) filed by Gla University, Mathura on September 07, 2026, for Automated Bio-Sample Analysis Device For Point-Of-Care Diagnostics.
Inventor includes Dr. Shashank Chaturvedi.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an automated bio-sample analysis device (100) for point-of-care diagnostics. The device (100) comprises a sample collection module (105), a microfluidic processing system (110), a reagent reservoir (115), a biosensor detection unit (120), signal processing circuitry (125), a microcontroller unit (130), a display interface (135), and a digital communication interface (140). The sample collection module (105) receives a biological sample and the microfluidic processing system (110) transports and mixes the biological sample with a reagent to form a processed sample. The biosensor detection unit (120) generates a sensor signal corresponding to biomarker interaction, and the signal processing circuitry (125) conditions and digitizes the sensor signal. The microcontroller unit (130) determines a biomarker-related diagnostic output for display and transmission to an external healthcare system (145).
